Do you sell a glue that works at any humidity? No
Does a glue work at any humidity? Technically yes, technically sort of, I know that's not the answer you want to hear but I'll explain a little bit more detail.
So I notice a huge rise in people wanting glue that works in any humidity. That's like asking for a cake recipe that no matter what temperature you put it in the oven it's going to come out amazing, we all know in reality that's never going to happen, you can't cook a cake at 60° for the same time that you can cook a cake for 200°,
Unfortunately there is lack of education in training around glue and the importance of humidity. So, I will try to keep it as simple as I can. Glue loves humidity, it thrives on it, it's it's best friend, the more humidity in the room, the happier the glue, it will dry quicker but too much is not a good thing! The same as too little is not a good thing, and it's about finding the right balance. Each glue has a sweet spot, a humidity jackpot, where you will get the most out of your glue, where it will perform at its best.
So, humidity is particles in the air, and during different times of the year, humidity goes up and it goes down. Some people have a consistent humidity, which is fantastic easy for them, others need to work between 2 glues during the course of the year, so they may find that certain part of the year the humidity is higher, so they go for a slower drying glue, other times of the year their humidity is lower, so they move to a faster drying glue. Now the best way to control humidity in the room that you're lashing is to invest in a humidifier/dehumidifier, and this way you can set it at your ideal humidity, so using our glues 55 is the ideal humidity, they will manage your room humidity for you and therefore you won't need to worry about being in and out that sweet spot constantly. Or you could just learn to manage the room humidity and know when you need to lash quicker when your humidity is higher or lash slower when your humidity is lower.
So if you do see a glue that on the market that says works in any humidity, and they have cyanoacrylate in them know that it is a selling tactic. Because all glues work at any humidity but they just work differently. So for example if you bought a 1-2 second glue such as Meadow, beautiful glue, nice thin viscosity, however she works differently when her environment is different. So if the humidity is at 40 she's no longer going to be a 1-2 second glue, she's going be more like a 2 to 3, and if the humidity is at 60/65 or even 70 she's going to be quicker than a 1-2 second she may be more of a 1 or 0.5.
And that is the the same with all glues on the market, this is how cyanacrylate works, unfortunately due to the lack of understanding and lack of training, some companies feel that they can use this as a sales tactic to their advantage, whereas you should look close to home and find a lash company that will educate you to have a better understanding on how humidity actually works and that the ideal humidity is what you're aiming for or how you can work with what you have got.
