There's no doubt that the lash industry is ever changing. New products hit the market on a daily basis promising to be the next big thing, from YY to W to Clovers we have definitely seen a change within the market for more cost effective trays that create a volume effect.
So what will happen to promades? I don't think that they will ever die out completely especially the double digit trays 16 and 20ds, but sales are definitely on the decline of promades with the rise of the new generation trays.
Speaking to other suppliers we have definitely seen a shift in the market, and I don't think we've seen the last of certain new trays I do believe they will evolve more. The idea that you can buy a tray that gives the same volume effect as promades is more appealing to the lash artist. Not only that but you're able to hybrid them so much easier, YY, W, Clovers, can create the most wonderful sets creating your own signature style.
And the main thing is that they cost effective, our industry is a competitive market, as such cost effective lashes means better profit.
